We can’t wait to dance with you!

It’s where you make new friends, enjoy time with old ones, and share the same passion for music and dance. Every session is a chance to learn something new while mastering the steps you already love.
With guided, step-by-step instruction, you can pick up new dances, refine your technique, and feel more confident each time you hit the floor. Whether you’re there to grow, to laugh, or simply to move, line dancing brings people together in the best way possible.
Come for the steps. Stay for the community. 💃🕺✨

At Better In Boots, most classes follow a similar structure so dancers know what to expect each week. Unless otherwise noted in the event details, all classes include beginner-level instruction and are open for dancers of all levels.
Each class begins with warm-ups. These may vary in skill level but will always include beginner-friendly movements to help everyone get comfortable, warmed up, and ready to dance.
After warm-ups, we move into a fast-paced review of the previous 2–3 dances taught. This review is typically one to two walls and helps reinforce memory while keeping the energy up.
Every class includes one to two brand-new dances.
New dances are:
👉 You will always learn at least one new dance in every class.
We finish the night with an open dance session, using any remaining time for all-level dance requests across a variety of styles. This gives everyone a chance to dance at the level and style they enjoy most.
Some classes may run three hours or longer. In these cases, instruction and open dance may be mixed throughout the evening to keep everyone engaged, energized, and moving.
With multiple skill levels and styles in the room, it’s impossible to please everyone all the time. That’s why every class is intentionally designed with variety — so every dancer can find moments that feel fun, challenging, and comfortable for them.
Line dancing today is more than just country music.
I’m a 90’s line dancing girl at heart and truly love what line dancing was during that era. I will always carry on many of the traditions and classic dances from the 90’s.
That said, line dancing has evolved. To keep it alive and thriving, I also introduce today’s music, styles, and newly choreographed dances. Vermont is a small state with limited venues and very few traditional country bars, but my goal is to continue growing line dancing here by blending strong roots with modern energy.
At Better In Boots, you’ll find a dance floor that respects where we came from — while keeping up with where the rest of the world is dancing today.
I’m beyond excited to share that we were able to donate $2,500 to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network — all thanks to the incredible support from our community and the success of our Barn Dance at The Barn at Boyden Farm.
This donation wouldn’t have been possible without every single person who showed up, danced, donated, supported our raffles, and shared their generosity. You all made this happen, and I’m truly grateful.
A huge thank you to The Barn at Boyden Farm for hosting us and giving us an amazing season of dancing under those beautiful barn lights. Your space brings so much joy to so many.
And of course, a shout out to the food trucks, the ice cream crew, and everyone who supported us all summer long — you helped make every event special.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Here’s to community, kindness, and dancing for a cause.

Each class is $10 per person. (Unless otherwise specified) You can pay cash at the door or Venmo, CashApp, Paypal and ApplePay (person to person) are also accepted. (With the exception of barn dances and ticket required events).
No registration is required. You can drop into any class, any time. (Unless otherwise specified).
No, all ages are welcome. All venues are family friendly, unless otherwise specified.
Absolutely Yes kids are welcome, but I will also ask that you keep in mind- How old are the kids? Can they stand in a group patiently and take direction? If they are small kids that won’t stand and following the instruction or try to follow, that may be a problem and someone could get hurt. You are welcome to bring your kids but please be respectful to everyone and understand the kiddos will need to be safe and will not be allowed to run around while people are trying to dance.
The rule of thumb is, wear what is mot comfortable for you. Do I love boots, yes. Do I have many pairs, yes. That's why I call it "Better In Boots". Do you need them, absolutely not, you just need to be comfortable.
